Here are some settings for various other mail clients. These have been submitted by users, and have not been tested by riseup.

The Bat

Suppose your address was mylogin@riseup.net.

• POP3:
  
  • Incoming mail server: mail.riseup.net
    
  • Login or User Name: mylogin
    
  • Password: whatever your password is.
    
  • Connection: Secure to dedicated port (TLS)
    
  • Authentication: Regular
    
  • Port: 995
    
• SMTP:
  
  • Outgoing mail server: mail.riseup.net
    
  • Connection: Secure to dedicated port (TLS)
    
  • Authentication: Perform SMTP Authentication (RFC 2554)
  • Password: Same user/password as for mail retrieval
  • Port: 465
